Mastering key processes and technologies are key for development and production of miniaturized fluid control component for space applications.

AST has established and validated various processes that allow for high quality and quantity series products. These processes are applied routinely on multiple product families and improved continuously in collaboration with our customers.

The site of AST is located in Osterholz-Scharmbeck near Bremen (Germany) and offers 5400 m² of offices, labs, a warehouse, and production areas. Centrepiece of production is the 350 m² ISO 8 Clean Room, where final assembly of our hardware takes place.

Most production processes are performed in-house or, in some special cases, within a resilient and vetted network of trusted partners in Germany and Europe.
